All-Starz 5’s KICK-START Festival
The Kick Start Indoor Festival is the perfect fun-filled weekend for primary school kids to play, laugh, and fall in love with the game. With fast-paced indoor matches, loads of energy, and a big focus on fun and teamwork, it’s all about getting sticks moving, smiles shining, and the season rolling in true hockey-family style. A weekend of games, giggles, and great memories awaits!

• Friendly showdowns—bring your mates or make new ones
• Zero pressure, maximum fun—whether you’re sharp as nails or just having fun
Grab your stick, bring your sass, and let’s turn the field into a playground of goals and giggles!
Match Duration & Format
- Match Duration: 10 minutes x 2 (2mins half time) fast paced games (3 minute change over )
- Squad Size: 5 players per team on the field, including the GK. (mixed or per gender)
- Round Robin games – all teams play each other in age group
- Full indoor field – normal hockey rules apply
Key Rules for 7’s summer fun
- Scoring: Goals scored in the circle
- Short-corners: Free hit on 5m
- Tie-breakers: Penalty flicks (3 x players)
- No overheads!
- All other hockey rules apply (including 3 meter rule)
- Water and flavoured water will be for sale on site (R10 each)
