Winter Festival

Get set for zippy 5-a-side matches, giggles galore, and some serious stick-action under the sun. Whether your child is dribbling for the first time or already rocking those skills, this league promises laughs, teamwork, and a splash of hockey magic!

Expect:
• Fast-paced 5-a-side match-ups—non-stop play, all the thrills
• Friendly showdowns—bring your mates or make new ones
• Zero pressure, maximum fun—whether you’re sharp as nails or just having fun

Grab your stick, bring your sass, and let’s turn the field into a playground of goals and giggles!

Match Duration & Format

  1. Match Duration: 10 minutes x 2 (2mins half time) fast paced games (3 minute change over )
  2. Squad Size: 5 players per team on the field, including the GK. (mixed or per gender)
  3. Round Robin games – all teams play each other in age group
  4. Full field – normal hockey rules apply

Key Rules for 7’s summer fun

  1. Scoring: Goals scored in circle
  2. Short-corners: Free hit on 5m
  3. Tie-breakers: One on one vs keeper  (3 x players)
  4. No overheads!
  5. All other hockey rules apply (including 5 meter rule)
